FRCC Boys Soccer All-Conference Teams Announced

The Fox River Classic Conference Boys Soccer All-Conference Teams were selected earlier this week through voting done by the FRCC Soccer Coaches. In addition to the Coaches choosing All-Conference Teams, they also select a Player-of-the-year, Offensive Player-of-the-year, Defensive Player-of-the-year, and recognized officials for their work done during the season.

Three players were repeat 1st team All-Conference selections from a year ago. James Dorchester – De Pere, Abraham Navarro – Green Bay Preble, and Ian Noble – Notre Dame Academy. Dorchester making his third appearance on the 1st team All-Conference and his fourth All-Conference selection overall (Honorable Mention Freshman year) Was voted as the Player-of-the-year in 2023. Dorchester led the league in goals scored with 12. Offensive Player-of-the-year Ian Noble was second in the league in scoring with 11 goals, tied with newcomer to the 1st Team All-Conference squad Stefano Vitale – Sheboygan North.

In addition to Vitale, there were 6th other newcomers who were selected 1st team all-conference this year. They Include: Orion Konitzer, Aaron Lambert and Daniel Schoeller of Bay Port; Brayden Coyle – De Pere; Derek Metz – Green Bay Preble; and Donovan Holderness -Pulaski. Rounding out the 1st team are individuals who were also selected for All-Conference in 2022, but not as first teamers. Those individuals are: Riley Nycz (HM 2022) – De Pere; Yosef Navarro (HM) and Gavin Urben (2nd) of Green Bay Preble; Maddox McKeefry (HM) and Ben Uelmen (HM) of Pulaski. Urben was selected as the FRCC Defensive Player-of-the-year.

Conference Champion Notre Dame Academy placed six players on the All-Conference teams with runner-up De Pere getting 8 selections. Nick Sturdivant – Notre Dame Academy was selected as Coach-of-the-year by his peers.

A special shout out to the Officials recognized by the FRCC for their work in the Conference this year: Jeff Jende, Rod Ottens, Ryan Birdsall, Peter Bernardy and Josh Copeland. Without these individuals willing to put in the time for the athletes it would be hard to play the games.
