The FRCC will be represented by Bay Port in the team competition. The Pirates are making their 8th consecutive appearance in the State Meet as a team. Their best finish came in the 2020-21 school year when Bay Port finished as the runner-up during the alternate season held in the spring because of the Covid pandemic. Bay Port will look to improve on a 6th place finish as a team from a year ago. Madelyn Gicius is the top returning finisher for Bay Port, finishing in 21st place in 2023. Members of first year Head Coach Mitch Meyer’s Bay Port Pirates are: Madelyn Gicius 10, Payton Dudra 11, Myah Johnson 10, Isabel Johnsen 10, Jordan Perry 12 and Jordyn Cahill 12.
Sophomore Emma Cunningham of Green Bay Southwest qualified for the State Meet as an individual. Emma was the FRCC Golfer of the year this past season for the second straight year and is competing in her second State meet. Emma finished tied for 12th place in last year’s state meet.
