The FRCC All-Conference Girls Volleyball Teams consisted of familiar names for 2023. Nine Players were selected to the 1st team, eight to the 2nd team, and nine more players earned Honorable Mention status to round out the teams. Conference Champion Manitowoc Lincoln placed five girls on all-conference with four of them garnering 1st Team honors. Bay Port and Green Bay Southwest each placed two players on the 1st Team and Notre Dame Academy filled the final 1st team spot.
Experience is the name of the game as eight of the nine players earning 2023 1st Team FRCC All-Conference mention were repeat all-conference selections from 2022. Grace Fruzen – Manitowoc Lincoln and Morgan Stewart – Green Bay Southwest were chosen as co-players of the year. Both were also 1st Team All-Conference in 2022. Maddie York and Nena Swoboda – Manitowoc Lincoln along with Alexa Hernandez – Green Bay Southwest are also repeat 1st Teamers from 2022. This is the 3rd year that Fruzen, York and Hernandez graced the FRCC All-conference teams. Chloe Parker – Bay Port (2nd 2022), Laurin Hamann – Manitowoc Lincoln (2nd 2022) and Ellie McDermid – Bay Port (HM 2021) are the other repeat All-Conference players to make the 2023 first team. Adah Danen – Notre Dame Academy rounds out the 1st team all-conference roster.
Mary Beth Dixon of Manitowoc Lincoln was chosen by her coaching peers as the 2023 Coach of the year.
