The WIAA Volleyball tournament started Tuesday in Divisions 2-5 with limited early round games. A full schedule of games will start on Thursday in all Divisions. With the exception of Notre Dame Academy and Sheboygan South who compete in Division 2, the FRCC competes in the Division 1 tournament series. FRCC Champion Bay Port received a #2 seed they will receive a bye in the 1st round and will have their first match on Saturday against the winner of West De Pere and Hortonville. Manitowoc Lincoln (#4) and Notre Dame Academy (#4) also received high seeds in the tournament.
Ashwaubenon, Bay Port, De Pere, Green Bay Preble, Green Bay Southwest and Pulaski compete in Sectional #3 in the Division 1 bracket while Manitowoc Lincoln and Sheboygan North compete in Sectional #4. Each of those brackets were seeded as 16-team brackets. In Division 2, Notre Dame Academy and Sheboygan South compete in Sectional #3. The Division 2 sectional brackets are 32-team brackets and Notre Dame Academy and Sheboygan South are in different halves of the Sectional 3 bracket which are divided by location.
Notes:
- Bay Port won their 2nd FRCC Championship and first since 2019.
- Manitowoc Lincoln has the most FRCC Championships with eight.
- Both Bay Port and Manitowoc Lincoln were eliminated in the Sectional Finals, one step away from the State Tournament in 2023.
- Manitowoc Lincoln was the runner-up in the state tournament in 2021 and Notre Dame was the runner-up in Division 2 in 2016.
